An external banner is a large format graphic printed on weather resistant PVC or mesh and finished with hems, eyelets or pole pockets. Its primary purpose is to display advertising or information outdoors while resisting moisture, ultraviolet light and temperature changes.
Perforated 330 gsm mesh is recommended because thousands of micro holes allow wind to pass through, reducing aerodynamic load. The result is lower stress on fixings and longer service life compared with solid PVC.
With proper tensioning and periodic cleaning, colours remain vibrant for twelve to eighteen months. Our premium ink sets embed deeply into the substrate, providing fade resistance even in direct sunlight. However, over time the colour will begin to be sundamaged.
