About the Client (Paradox Museum)

Paradox Museum is a globally renowned immersive experience brand specialising in mind-bending, interactive exhibitions that play with perception and visual trickery. The London location, positioned in one of the capital’s most prestigious areas, needed to make a strong impression from day one—not just to visitors but to the press, influencers and stakeholders attending the museum’s official launch. The client required high-quality, durable wall and window graphics capable of capturing the museum’s bold visual identity while standing up to continuous footfall and photographic interactions.

The Brief / Challenge

Wallace Print was brought on board at the early stages of the London build. The challenge was twofold:

  • Create striking, long-lasting wall and window graphics that enhanced the optical illusions within the space
  • Deliver all print and install work to an immovable launch deadline, while coordinating with builders and multiple trades on a live construction site

Paradox required a turnkey solution—including consultation, material specification, print production, site visits and hands-on installation. The site was still under active construction with plastering, electricals, and ceiling works taking place simultaneously. Additionally, the museum team needed cost transparency, requesting a square metre rate for peace of mind and budget control.

Our Solution

From the outset, our goal was to take ownership of the visual execution so the Paradox team could focus on their launch strategy. One of our senior project managers immediately initiated a Zoom call with the museum’s creative and operations teams to establish trust and confidence. Our consultative approach helped the client understand the process, timelines, and available material options to achieve their goals.

Shortly after, we conducted an on-site meeting alongside our installation lead to assess the current condition of the venue and map out a detailed installation plan. Despite walls still being constructed and ceilings partially incomplete, we worked closely with the on-site build crew to coordinate installation zones, recommend wall preparation methods, and avoid rework.

To streamline procurement and avoid billing surprises, Wallace Print agreed a fixed square metre rate for the full job. This gave Paradox complete visibility over the final cost from the beginning—a major benefit in a fast-moving project with a hard deadline.

All wall graphics were printed in-house on our premium 7-year high-tack vinyl, finished with a matching protective laminate. This ensured a stunning, glare-resistant finish with excellent durability, ideal for the museum’s high-touch, photo-heavy environment. For window areas, we produced custom-fitted graphics to deliver branded impact from the street while maintaining interior cohesion.

The install took place over several days on a live building site, requiring careful coordination around other trades. Our installers completed detailed daily progress reports, flagging any issues immediately so they could be resolved without delay. This transparency gave the client peace of mind and helped avoid miscommunication between teams.

As opening day approached, the Paradox team submitted a last-minute request for additional window graphics and directional signage. Despite the tight timeline, we fulfilled these requests and installed them just hours before media day, ensuring everything looked perfect before the press arrived.

The Results

The graphic applications elevated the overall visitor experience, enhancing illusions while reinforcing the museum’s identity through cohesive environmental design.
